Hello everybody! I am back on my blog after an extended break. The last time I blogged was when I was in Manchester. I had saved quite a fair bit of material to post but then what with slow internet connections and all it just drove me nuts. The trip to Manchester was followed by a trip to London as my husband was running the marathon there. When I got home, I managed to pick up a virus on my laptop and had to get it fixed. Well, happy to say that everything seems to be working smoothly again - fingers crossed! During all this downtime, I have been busy spring cleaning my home and also my phone and laptop. It’s shocking the amount of photos I have accumulated on my laptop and phone. This will teach me to be more organised. You live, you learn. It’s nice to come back and start everything afresh though.

Hello everybody and happy Tuesday! It feels like I have been away from my blog for so long. I am actually away from home and will be for the next 10 days. As such, I was busy cooking up a storm to ensure that I have enough material to post until I am back home in my kitchen again. The free Wi-Fi access I have now is much slower than what I am used to. So it is a pain to load images and videos. Yes – this means using Pinterest gets very frustrating!

Hello and happy hump day! I love Wednesdays because it’s as if you can almost smell the weekend. I can’t wait!

Since I bought my bottle of maple syrup last week, I have been happily using it. First it was to make Maple Almond Granola and this time, I used it to slather over some oven roasted sweet potato fries.
